The Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organisation that endeavours to assist the activities and services of the Cairns Hospital and Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.

Cancer Council QLD
Established in 1961 as the Queensland Cancer Fund, in response to an increasing need for cancer-related services across the state. This year, Cancer Council QLD are celebrating 60 years of supporting Queenslanders, affected by cancer. On average, one Queenslander will be diagnosed with cancer every 20 minutes. Cancer Council Queensland is dedicated to improving quality of life for people living with cancer, through research, patient care, prevention and early detection.
Cairns Indigenous Art Fair
Cairns Central is proud to partner with Australia’s most attended Indigenous Arts event, Cairns Indigenous Art Fair. CIAF is committed to strengthening and celebrating culture, creating professional development opportunities for artists, and cultural exchange between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and visitors. CIAF is focused on offering an ethical art market place, attracting national and international collectors and curators, commissioning new work and providing pathways for emerging visual and performance artists.
